SOLO SHOW

For its first participation in the Arles Off Festival, the porte B gallery presents a solo exhibition by the duo Pierre & Florent entitled "Mémoire habillée".

At the crossroads of fashion, performance, documentary, and autofiction, this project presents a series of portraits created through an accumulation of carefully chosen clothing and objects. Family, friends, and strangers have agreed to reveal a part of their lives, questioning their relationship to their environment, their history, their self-image, and their place in society. Each protagonist is perched atop their own dome, a symbol of their memories and their life. This dome, formed by an accumulation of clothing, also reflects our consumer societies. Without us even realizing it, our clothes reflect our profession, our affiliations, but can also be a disguise, camouflage, or even a political act.
