THE TIME AFTER

GROUP SHOW

Marguerite Bornhauser - Tom Lelouche - Romain Lalire - Clara Tournay
From March 21 to April 18, 2026

The time after brings together the works of Tom Lelouche, Marguerite Bornhauser, Romain Lalire and Clara Tournay around a common reflection: what remains when time has done its work? What survives after rupture, collapse or oblivion? Conceived as a speculative narrative, the exhibition opens with Tom Lelouche's immersive installation. Visitors discover a frozen, post-apocalyptic scene where nature, rendered fragile, is preserved under protection. Plant survival is artificially maintained, as if attempting to analyze and safeguard a transformed world. With Unplug, the artist explores the possibility of a suspended life: a tree kept in a state of minimal survival, deprived of both growth and decline. Nature becomes an organism under observation. Marguerite Bornhauser, through Back to Dust, explores the memory of vestiges. Archaeological fragments, dust, and constellations converse to reveal the vertiginous scale of time. Between the infinitely small and cosmic immensity, the work underscores the fragile persistence of human traces. Romain Lalire's Above the Clouds offers a contemplative experience, inspired by a moment suspended above the clouds. Light and matter become the terrain for exploring a slowed-down, almost meditative time. Finally, Clara Tournay, with her Maeve and Obake series, explores the transformation of materials. Fragments of funerary stelae, industrial waste, and blown glass are assembled into hybrid forms, somewhere between mineral and organic. Her works question the memory of materials and their capacity for regeneration.

Between vestige and resilience, observation and mutation, Le temps d'après envisions the exhibition as a space for reflection on continuity, transformation and the possibility of a new beginning.
