ART PARIS

DUO SHOW

Marguerite Bornhauser & Marion Flament
From April 9 to 12, 2026 - Grand Palais

For Art Paris 2026, the Porte B gallery is offering a duo show bringing together photographer Marguerite Bornhauser and visual artist Marion Flament around a common language: light and color as revealers of the world.

With We Are Melting, Marguerite Bornhauser continues her exploration of color as a sensitive narrative vehicle. Working from the first and last moments of film, she evokes the climate emergency as a shift: appearance and disappearance, melting and dissolution. The prints, combined with painted glass plates, become hybrid objects, somewhere between photography, stained glass, and painting. Incandescent drips and glacial gradations translate the states of a world in flux, offering a sensory experience rather than a simple documentary reading.

In a related vein, Marion Flament presents works from her series Filling the Day and Everything Has the Same Color, as well as several pieces from the Witnesses series, created in collaboration with Marguerite Bornhauser. Her installations transform the perception of space. Light—shadows, reflections, and traces—becomes clues to a scene in motion. Conceived in dialogue with the site, these pieces invite the viewer to cross a threshold: to move from darkness to light, to experience light as a material, and to perceive time differently.*

By combining these two approaches, the exhibition becomes a space of resonance where images and materials respond to one another. Light becomes an emotional language, revealing the transformations of our environment and inviting us, in turn, to witness these changes.
