Solo show
Tiffany Bouelle
On the occasion of the 2025 edition of the Luxembourg Art Week, the Galerie Porte B is presenting a solo exhibition by Tiffany Bouelle. At the crossroads of art and craftsmanship, this exhibition highlights the meticulous practice of the Franco-Japanese artist, who draws on traditional craftsmanship to enrich her creations. Trained in Japanese calligraphy from a young age by her grandfather, a master of the art, Tiffany Bouelle has combined this ancestral influence with a continuous exploration of new media, from watercolor painting to textiles and sculpture. Today, she collaborates with artisans—weavers, cabinetmakers, ceramists—to reinvent ancient techniques and weave visual narratives that oscillate between intimacy and universality.

Her works, which combine artisanal gestures and contemporary creation, question the boundaries between art and craftsmanship. Combining heritage and innovation, it invites us to rediscover the infinite potential of the artisanal gesture in today's art, constantly questioning the relationship between the material, the gesture, and the work of art. This exhibition offers a reflection on the transposition of work in art, providing a unique and singular vision of contemporary creation.
