As part of  the Rencontres Photographiques Du 10ème, the gallery porte B is delighted to host the exhibition  "Ostension" by Pierre and Florent.

Joy, sorrow, pain, serenity, fear, anger, wonder, excitement... These infinite nuances pass through us daily, often mixed together. They overwhelm us one day and sometimes transform us, forever. 

 

With "Ostension," Pierre and Florent explore these emotions through the stories of six protagonists, transforming their intimate memories into visual and sensory material. Between documentary and performance, they reenact these significant moments in the form of images, installations, and embroidered textiles. The thread that runs through the exhibition, the cloth handkerchief becomes a receptacle for emotions, a silent witness to our inner lives. "Ostension" offers a time for introspection and celebrates emotions as joyful and universal pagan relics.
